  • Financial Programs  Minnesota Family Investment Program, Diversionary Work program, General Assistance, Minnesota Supplemental Assistance, Refugee Cash Assistance, Group Residential Housing, etc. 
  • Child Support is the contribution a parent makes for their children towards care, living expenses, and medical support. All of Minnesota's 87 counties are federally mandated to provide child support services for families regardless of the family's socioeconomic status.
  • Food Support Services  SNAP benefits are for single people and for families with or without children. SNAP is county-run program that helps Minnesotans with low incomes get the food they need for sound nutrition and well-balanced meals. The program issues electronic food support benefits that can help stretch your household food budget.
  • Minnesota Health Care Programs include Medical Assistance (MA), MinnesotaCare, Minnesota Family Planning Program,  Home and community-based waiver programs, and Medicare Savings Programs.  Apply through MNsure, Minnesota’s health insurance marketplace.
